- Course Content
Vernauwing of occlusie van de kransslagaders is één van de meest frequente oorzaken van linker ventrikel systolische dysfunctie. De karakteristieke morfologische en functionele echocardiografische aspecten hiervan worden toegelicht alsook de mogelijke complicaties die herkend dienen te worden.
Gezien de mogelijke complicaties dienen vernauwing van de kransslagaders vroegtijdig te worden opgespoord. De rationale van ischemie-detectie en stresstesting zal worden toegelicht. Anderzijds, indien revascularisatie overwogen wordt, dient ook de leefbaarheid van de hartspier verder te worden onderzocht. De principes van viabiliteit en stress-testing zullen hierbij worden besproken.
