Course Content

In Lengua Española I the course content will be offered in a structured way through a blended learning approach: a combination of face-to-face teaching (2 hours per week) and virtual teaching (1 hour per week).

Both components require active participation. Students are expected to prepare certain topics off-campus so that they can actively participate in the on-campus lessons.

The course Lengua Española I is closely linked to the course Lingüística y Gramática del Español: Introducción. In the Lengua Española I classes, the grammar rules that enable communication will be applied in concrete communicative situations. The five communicative skills (reading and listening, writing and speaking, and oral interaction) will be covered broadly.
